This afternoon we will be beginning our Silent Retreat. I am being moved to another room in the Mark Center, and another girl, Brianna and I will be sharing that room. They has us spread out so that there are less people to distract you and you just get that much more alone time. I am looking forward to being by myself and getting spiritually and mentally refreshed and rejuvenated. I am going to take advantage of the hottub, and going on lots of walks I think. And I am going to dive into reading my bible and journaling. Simone was joking and saying that I will have to show her how many pages I have used in my journal, because I am a huge journaler. I am sure I will use a lot of pages, I find it easier to process things when I write them down in my journal, and I like to write down my prayers as well. We still don't know all the "rules" for the retreat, but we will find out after lunch. Speaking of which I better go downstairs and socialize for the last little bit of time I have left before we begin.
Oh but we found out today that we DO get to meet with our mentors here in the middle of the day tomorrow, just to check up on us and see how things are going. That will be great I think!
Anyways I should go, but I will post again this weekend to talk about how it was!!
