Dancing and mini Oranges...Cats and Dogs anyone??

Today was a very full day. We started of the morning with me and Breanne rolling out of bed right when breakfast started again. It's becoming a ritual...Simone and Joanna wake us up at like quarter to eight and then Breanne slowly makes herself down from the top bunk and jumps on my bed where we lie until Simone and Joanne leave for breakfast telling us to get up. Slowly we moan and get out of bed and get ready in like ten minutes. Despite the fact that we are slow moving..we always make it in time for breakfast, with time to spare.

One problem I seem to have is with losing things. Almost every day I lose something. We joke that my side of the room eats up my things. It is an ongoing problem. Although I have found basically everything except a book and my ipod case. So I'll keep searching.

Our first session on Forgiveness. It was pretty good. Then we had a worship dance session with Sonja, one of the interns. That was pretty awesome. All the girls did it, and Dave and Greg and John (Greg and John are Trek leaders, and Dave is the sole guy on the program) went out for coffee or something. We are learning a dance to "How Great is our God" by Chris Tomlin. It's pretty sweet:)

Then we had lunch, which was very good. I would just like to make a side note that the food here is so amazing. Sonja (intern) and Gay (John's mom) are awesome cooks. We are definitely very spoiled here. So a small shout out to the cooks!!! Your efforts are much appreciated.

After lunch we walked over to Clearbrook Church where we had an long afternoon session. It was called the "Cat and Dog Theology". It's using them as metaphors...being like a Cat where it is all about us. Where we make the center of the Universe about us. And being like a dog is where it is (it being life) all about bringing Glory to God in all that we do. It was an interesting way of describing it. The presentation went by really fast and it was hard to take notes. Then the second part was connecting into the first part, but extending it. I don't know. If you want to know more then email me and I will try to explain in more depth. That session sparked a lot of good conversation, partially because it was interesting, and partially because it was confusing.
For a break in the session John went and bought us a snack. He bought these miniture oranges, as they are displayed in the pictures. They were so tiny. In the picture is a normal sized orange (not a Christmas orange, just a regular one) and these mini sized ones. I had to take a picture because they were so cute. Greg (intern) said he has a theory that all girls think that anything that is little is cute. Well here his theory has been proved right, that mini orange was very cute.
The picture above is of Simone at the Castle fun park. That was where we went on our fun event this evening. First we did mini golfing in the "Jungle" and then we played games in the arcade. Breanne and I rocked out playing DDR. We cleared every time we played (on the beginner level of course:P) Here is a video of us having a good time. Enjoy!!!

Here is a little quote for the day from our assigned reading book:

"The possibility of transformation is the essence of hope." -John Ortberg.
