Another day in Abbotsford...

Today was a really good day. This morning started off a bit rushed...Breanne (my roommate) and I didn't get up until five minutes before breakfast started. We are pretty good at getting ready fast so it was all good. Then we came back to our rooms for memorizing. It actually went really well today. I have most of Psalm 139 memorized. I think I will again memorize a chapter from Psalm. I just love the Psalms. That crying out to God in the good times and the bad. Praising him and questioning Him. It's so open and sincere. It's like we get to read David's journals. I am so glad I like journaling, because I love looking back on my thoughts and my prayers and seeing how God was at work. The times when I was crying out and questioning God were the times when He was the closest. He has answered so many prayers, it's so amazing. God is alive and He is working.

Today we continued the study of Mark. Actually we really just started. We talked a lot about authority. Crowds were so captivated by how Jesus spoke with authority, and his authority over demons (evil spirits). And we also talked a lot about Spiritual authority. Sharing stories of people who have spoken or prayed with Spiritual Authority, and how we can also pray with Spiritual Authority. This is something that I dont' know very much about, but I can't wait to learn more. We are having a speaker, Randy Friesen, do a couple sessions on it in a few weeks. So I think that will be awesome.

Just a little note: The pictures up there are of my room...before we really inhabited it. Simone and I had just arrived, so I thought I would take a picture before it got all messed up by four crazy girls living in it. And crazy we are. But we always have a good laughs. I am starting a quote book on all the funny things that people say when in those crazy awesome hyper moods.

Breanne always likes to declare how much she loves us. Simone sleeps like a mummy. And Joanna and I like to make fun of Breanne when she is talking to other people...I think she has selective hearing because she always seems to block us out. I love these girls so much. Oh and the other picture is me and Breanne after we had gone tube sliding or whatever it is called. It is her typical face. "She is so awesome that I just want to crap my pants" Haha that is a little inside joke. But she really is awesome. So is everyone in fact. I will try and slowly get up pictures of everyone here.

To finish it off..I thought I would just make you a little bit jealous by showing you a beautiful sight...something I get to enjoy quite often.
